Forsythe Park is hosting a 5K run on June 4 from 6:15 to 7:30 PM, costing $25 to participate. You can celebrate Global Running Day with Fleet Feet and Brooks, whether it's your first or fiftieth 5K. It's a family-friendly event, and parking is available at the park.
The Louisiana Purchase Gardens & Zoo is hosting a catch-and-release fishing event at their freshwater lagoon. You can fish with provided gear and enjoy vendors, food trucks, and animal keeper chats. It's $10 to get in.

Short Attention Span Theatre
A comedy show with skits and musical performances is happening at E '86 on June 4. It starts at 6:30PM and 8:30PM, with a $15 admission and 2 drink minimum.

Live music is happening at Star Bar from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. It's free and includes handcrafted cocktails and skyline views.

Raise The Racquet Gala
It's a fundraising gala at Bayou Pointe Event Center from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Admission is $75 and includes live entertainment, a silent auction, and complimentary drinks.
We have a group meeting for walking at 9am on Sat Morning at Forsythe Park-near the Ouachita River. Y'all come and join us.
Local staff nursed a duck back to health after it got caught in a wire, treating its swollen foot. The duck has now been released and reunited with its family.
